What We Believe From Scripture

The Bible

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, and the supreme and final authority in doctrine and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21; Matthew 5:18; John 17:17).

At Igniter, we love to bring the Bible, its stories, its principles, and its messages to life visually. Although not every one of our videos/graphics displays a specific Bible verse, all of our content is created with Scripture in mind and strives to enhance biblical teaching and bring beauty to a worship experience.

The Trinity

We believe in one God eternally existing in three equal, yet distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14; Deuteronomy 6:4).

At Igniter, we believe in this Triune God and desire all people to personally know of our all-powerful God.

Jesus Christ and Salvation

We believe Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man. We believe He and He alone accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice. We believe our redemption and salvation are guaranteed by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead (John 1:1-2, 14; Luke 1:35; Romans 3:24).

At Igniter, we feel called to share the hope and love of Jesus Christ in everything we do, including the media we create. It is our desire that, in big or small ways, our videos might spur on each viewer to become or excel still more at being a fully devoted follower of Christ.

The Church

We believe that the Church, the Body and espoused Bride of Christ, is made up of all born-again persons. We believe the local church is an assembly of professed believers in Jesus Christ who are voluntarily joined together in one locality for the purposes of worship, study of the Word of God, observance of the ordinances, Christian fellowship, equipping for and practice of Kingdom service, specifically stewarding lives for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission (Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Acts 2: 42-47; Matthew 28:19-20).

At Igniter, we believe that the local and universal Church is the hope of the world. Each of us are involved with a local body of believers striving to make God’s name more famous. In all of the media we create, our goal is to simply help equip the Church and your unique and important ministry.
